Paper Province launches new conference in collaboration with ProcessTeknik 2024.

The 8th to 10th of October, it’s time for ProcessTeknik at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre. One of this year’s major highlights is that Paper Province, a world-leading business cluster in forest-based bioeconomy, is organizing a conference in conjunction with the fair – Paper Province Summit.

The Paper Province Summit takes place on October 8th. The conference program is aimed at anyone who wants to be inspired by leading industrial players sharing their best examples of what they are doing today to remain competitive in the future.

The conference highlights how the industry can create greater value with fewer resources. This includes exploring themes such as local on-demand spare part manufacturing, renewable raw materials, circular value chains, and sustainability as a competitive advantage.

Continuation of past collaboration

In 2022, Paper Province was also part of ProcessTeknik and delivered a presentation on how the industry can work together to build a fossil-free society. Three of Paper Province’s member companies then provided concrete examples of why collaboration is smart and profitable for both growth and the climate.

“Now we’re back with more informative examples from pioneers in our industry. The process industry has many branches but also many common challenges and needs. Resource efficiency is one example. We will focus on that and hope to inspire and unite visitors around common solutions that prepare us for the future,” says Annica Åman, Communications Manager at Paper Province.

Stefan Engelbrektsson, Business Manager of ProcessTeknik, emphasizes the importance of collaboration:

“Together with Paper Province, ProcessTeknik offers a unique meeting place for innovation and sustainability in the forestry industry. Don’t miss the opportunity to network with industry leaders and share insights that will drive the sector forward.”

The conference also offers an opportunity for participants to engage in discussions and networking.
