The Swedish Technology Award is presented in connection with Scanautomatic and ProcessTeknik on 22 October 2026.

The Swedish Technology Award highlights and recognizes companies whose innovations help develop and improve the production capabilities of industry.

To be eligible for nomination, the product must be of great relevance to industrial automation, process automation, or digitalization. In its evaluation, the jury also places particular emphasis on the product’s qualities from a sustainability perspective. Only exhibitors at Scanautomatic and ProcessTeknik may be nominated for the award.

Through the Swedish Technology Award, we aim to draw attention to innovative solutions, promote innovation, and encourage active, long-term sustainability efforts within industry.

The award is presented in two categories: the Jury’s Award and the Visitors’ Award.

Winning companies of the Swedish Technology Award 2024

Two prizes have been awarded in this year’s Swedish Technology Award: one by the jury and the other by the trade fair visitors. The winners of each prize are presented below, along with the jury’s motivations, highlighting what makes these companies deserving of their awards.

    Solution/Product:

    TiQAM" Tricylon Inline Quality Acoustics Measurement System is an independent automatic quality assurance/monitoring system for both old and new CNC machines. This system is suitable for ramp-up and/or continuous production. The product will be launched at the exhibition.

The jury selects Lenser i-Plate from Thurne Teknik AB as the winner of the Swedish Technology Award 2024.

Motivation:

“Lenser i-Plate is a product that enables improvements in the industry’s crucial filtration steps. Real-time information allows direct control of quality and process. The sensor can be integrated into existing filters, offering the opportunity to upgrade to a higher degree of automation. Additionally, the sensor measures during filter cleaning, ensuring it is cleaned to the exact required level. Lenser i-Plate is an elegant and smart solution that increases productivity through precise quality and reduced resource consumption.”

The jury gives an honorable mention to TiQAM from Tricylon Robotics AB.

Motivation:
“TiQAM is a product for real-time quality control of machining processes. Established acoustic listening technology is combined with G-code. The information is used to detect anomalies. The product can be installed in existing machines and is considered to have great commercial potential. TiQAM is based on Swedish research.”
